Job Description :
The Speech-Language Pathologist assesses and treats speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Care is delivered in the home to improve communication skills and overall quality of life.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing function
- Educate patients and families on techniques and exercises
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or relevant field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferably in a home care or clinical setting)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
